I am 1-5 on the season now. I really don't know how I am this bad considering how good of a draft I thought I had. My qb's have been killing me so far. Another person in my league put Peyton Manning on the trading block and although he hasn't been the usual Peyton, he's still better than both of my scrubs (I picked up Anderson after the game on Monday). What kind of deal do you think I should offer for Peyton, or should I even try and trade for him? Here is my team:

Starters (for Week 7):

QB - Jason Campbell
WR's - Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards
RB's - Steven Jackson, Chris Johnson
TE - Kellen Winslow

Bench:

QB- Derek Anderson
RB - Julius Jones, Laurence Maroney (is a Bitch)
WR - Devery Henderson
TE - Greg Olsen

You just had high draft picks turn out to be busts in Anderson and Maroney. Only guys on your team with any value really are SJ/Braylon.

Maybe try and deal SJ for a solid qb and rb? I dunno, you're in a tough spot man.

Here you go Jake. I might be stubborn, but looking at both rosters I can't believe he's 4-2 and I'm 1-5.

QB
Aaron Rodgers

WR
Roy Williams

WR
Vincent Jackson

RB
Frank Gore

RB
Jonathan Stewart

TE
Antonio Gates

BN
Eddie Royal

BN
Peyton Manning

BN
Anquan Boldin

He has 2 defensive guys on his bench, which explains why he has less offensive players.

Now is a great time to get Peyton. The O-line was close to fully healthy for the first time last game and it showed. Manning will have an incredible 2nd half and due to their early struggles it appears more likely he'll play in fantasy playoff time.

Try Derek Anderson and Santonio Holmes for Peyton and Eddie Royal. Royal is dinged but can be just as productive as Holmes went healthy (he'll probably suit up next week) and Peyton is big over Anderson. I'd try that. Maybe even get more from him now that I think about it. Try to throw in Julius Jones for Jonathon Stewart or something.

Thanks for your input Jake. Offered him Anderson, Holmes, and Jones for Peyton, Stewart, and Roy Williams. I told him he could pick whatever WR he wanted to give me. If he doesn't accept, do you think throwing in Chris Johnson instead of Jones makes it so I am giving up too much?

It's close. Make the deal if you feel like it (depending on the players you want to root for) but I don't think it's a big upgrade or downgrade either way with Chris in there. About the same as before.

Ended up trading Jason Campbell and Julius Jones for Peyton Manning and Jonathan Stewart. I really like my line-up now with Manning at QB and hopefully Anderson has turned the corner after that Monday night game.

No kidding man, was shocked when he accepted! Are you still in Pullman Addict? Should be a slaughter this Saturday. If my family wasn't coming I wouldn't even go to the game this weekend. I can't wait until basketball season.
